Jackson Tse
Jackson is the Founder of Catalyze. He has over ten years of experience helping students around the world gain admission to highly-selective boarding schools and colleges, including Columbia University, The University of Pennsylvania, New York University, Milton Academy and The Hotchkiss School.
Jackson attended Milton Academy, a highly-selective US boarding school, where he graduated cum laude. He succesfully transferred to Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude (top 5% of the graduating class) and Phi Beta Kappa, double majoring in Political Science and Business Management.
At Columbia, Jackson served as President of the Student Ambassadors and Vice President of Student Council. He established the Peer Connector Network, a mentorship initiative helping acclimate transfer students. For his contributions, he was awarded two King’s Crown Leadership Awards and a Dean’s Award for Leadership Excellence.
Jackson received his Master’s Degree in China Studies on a full scholarship from Peking University, as part of the inaugural class of Yenching Scholars, the Chinese equivalent to the Rhodes Scholarship.
Prior to founding Catalyze, Jackson worked as a Consultant for The Bridgespan Group, a Bain & Company affiliated nonprofit consulting firm, where he provided strategic advice to organizations like National Geographic Society, the YMCA, and Last Mile Health.
Rhaime Kim
Rhaime is a Co-Founder and COO of Catalyze. She has helped students gain admission at top institutions including Brown University, University of Southern California, King’s College, St. Andrews, and Phillips Academy Andover.
Rhaime attended Phillips Andover Academy, the top-ranked US boarding school, graduating cum laude and rowing on the Varsity Crew team. She developed an understanding of the admissions office while serving as a tour guide for prospective students and their families for all four years at Andover.
Rhaime graduated from Brown University with a major in Computer Science. At Brown, Rhaime made investments in startups as an associate of Brown’s student-led VC fund, Van Wickle Ventures. Rhaime was also heavily involved in the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship. She received funding to develop her own startup idea after being selected to join Brown’s summer accelerator, B-Lab.
Rhaime previously served as the COO of Rice Robotics, where she spearheaded the robotics company’s strategy and directly managed a team of 20 people.
